Softball Tournament

The team!

The kids taking a break from playing. They sat down, around nap time of course, to watch a movie.

The back row from left to right is, Ryker, Jalyn, Madisyn. Front row is Catcher, and Broc.

Here is Crew enjoying the shade

Saturday we spent all day at Dustin's softball tournament in Tempe. It started at 9 in the morning, and they finished their last game at 6 that night. It was a pretty warm day, but thank goodness my mom brought some big umbrellas to keep us all cool. The guys took second in the tournament. They played really hard and did a great job. They made all of us wives very proud! Way to go guys! The kids were really good sports about being out in the heat. They all just played together, and as you can see in the pic's, took a couple minutes to catch their breaths by gathering around our little DVD player and watching Meet the Robinson's. They were all so cute. Anyway, we had a good time, and we are looking forward to the next one.

Neighborhood Halloween Carnival

Here is Jack Sparrow...a.k.a Catcher, eating Cotton Candy with his cousins Madisyn, and Tatum
Here I am holding my little Peter Pan. He has the sweetest cheeks ever!

Another one of me and my little Pan Man

Here is Dustin holding Madisyn, Mark & Marisa's little girl. She was a beautiful Ballerina!

To finish our crazy Saturday off, we had our Neighborhood Halloween Carnival. It was fun to dress the boys up in their little costumes. They were tired from being at the tournament all day, but they were troopers for the most part, and let mom have her fun. Catcher was our little "Jack Sparrow," and Crew was "Peter Pan." They were so stinking cute, and we had ton's of fun with them. It is great that we have family living so close to us and in the same Stake. We were all at the carnival, and it was fun for the kids to enjoy seeing each others costumes and to eat CANDY. We are going to take the kids trick-o-treating on Wednesday, so I will have more fun Halloween pictures then.

Nasty Flu Bug!!

Well, we woke up this morning thinking it would be like any other day. We were getting ready for Preschool and headed out the door. As soon as we got to school, I noticed Catcher looked a little pale, and sure enough, just a few minutes later, I was cleaning up puke. Thank goodness Preschool is just down the road at Grandma Goodmans house, and Aunt Crystal is the teacher, so they were as helpful as possible. Now low and behold out of the blue, we have the nasty flu bug at our house! It has wiped Catcher and I out. Here is a picture of Catcher finally relaxing and getting some much needed sleep. He is snuggled up to his cup. He badly wants a drink, but also knows that makes his stomach hurt, so maybe he is thinking that if he cuddles it, he won't be thirsty anymore. Poor kid. Why do little one's have to get sick? Just doesn't seem fair. Anyway, we hope this bug passes over your house....sorry Madisyn, we know you are already sick, and we hope it passes quickly.

D-Backs

This is Crew and Dustin trying to cheer the D-Backs past the Rockies. But as hard as they cheered, they just couldn't pull it off. But we will keep our hopes up for next year! Go D-Backs!

Daddy's Softball Game

Crew at the house just before leaving to Daddy's softball game...he is excited.

This is how Crew watches Daddy's games

Catcher at Daddy's softball game... his favorite night of the week!

Catcher eating his popcorn while cheering for Daddy!

Dustin waiting for the Pitch...

Dustin up to bat, camera wouldn't take a good picture

Sorry it is blurry but this is Dustin behind home plate

On Thursday nights Dustin plays city Softball. We love to go and watch and enjoy the crowd, and the wonderful fall air here in Mesa. He plays on Mark's team, so we get to go cheer for Daddy and Uncle Mark. Crew isn't old enough to get into it yet, but Catcher thinks it is the best night of the week. He takes his glove and chases a ball all over while dad plays. He also loves to take his little cars and play in any patch of dirt he can find.

Sweet Cheeks

Aren't they cute?! I think so. All my boys showing off their cute chubby cheeks just before bed. Catcher and Crew have the snuggliest, most kissable cheeks...and daddy is puffing his out to look just like them....but his are still kissable to me=)! Just wanted to share these cuties with you all.
