Spirit Week

Catcher had Spirit week a while ago and I am finally getting around to posting about it. I am such a bad blogging Mom! This is a picture of crazy hair day. This is as crazy as it gets around here since we have boys with short hair. He was so excited to get to spray his hair. Here he is giving me a GQ pose before walking out the door.

And around here, you can't just spray one head, that's just not fair. Crew was happy to get in on the action too.
Pajama day...I think that wearing the P.J's to school was hard on Catch. He had a hard time wanting to wake up and go to school, as you can see by his sleepy little face.

Mismatch day! Doesn't he look style'n?! Love his smile! This kid smiles so easy!

He posed like this and said take this picture Mom, it will look like I am falling. Does it? ha ha.

Crazy hat day. Do we own any crazy hats, no we don't, but we do have a Santa hat and it had to work. He was thrilled to wear it and surprisingly he said that no one else had one.

School Spirit Day! He got to wear his school shirt. Cutie! I seriously could just love on this kid all day. He is my happy go lucky one and just makes his Mom's day.
Waiting for Grandma to pick him up and take him to school. Thanks for dressing up each day buddy and being such a fun kid. I had Catcher's teacher tell us that she wishes she had a classroom full of Catchers. She said his enthusiasm is so contagious and that he is always so excited to do whatever is asked of him. Mrs. W said that if a kid is having a hard day or doesn't want to accomplish anything, she knows she can sit them by Catch, and they will change their tune and be so absolutely excited to do the work. Talk about making a Mom's heart burst with Pride. LOVE YOU BUDDY!

Fun at the Lake.

The day before Kindergarten started, we asked Catcher what he wanted to do for his last day off...THE LAKE was his choice. It was a good one too, we had a blast. The boys LOVE the water. They love grandma' s pool and they love the lake. We loaded up the truck and took off.

Catcher and Crew were beyond excited. So were we, its so fun to watch them get so excited over something. Bronx wasn't sure why we were going to go play out in the heat, but he was up for whatever.

Our little Chubs ready to go.

As you can tell by rosy little cheeks, it was warmer than we were hoping for, but thank goodness there was a whole lake to cool off in. Don't you wish that you could have a fat role hang out of your shirt and look this cute...Go Bronx!

Awe, finally...the water! They took off. We were busy trying to set up the shade on shore and such, and these two took off.

There were tons of shells on shore. Catcher made it his job to find most of them.

And Crew, rocks were his thing. Anything that makes the water splash is great in his book.

T>ONT size=4>Dustin getting the shade set up for all of us, well mostly me and Bronx. I wasn't too kean on him being in the water much. I was paranoid he was going to swallow some of that nasty lake water.

Three of the boys.

Bronx and I enjoyed cooling our feet off in the sand.

Dustin taking Bronx in for a cool down. This baby loves the water too. This summer we were at my moms pool almost everyday. He wanted me to let him go in the water and just let him be, I didn't of course, but he would kick his feet back and splash. He also would flip over on his back and just float.

The boys thought it was fun to feed their chips to the birds. These birds were a little crazy, but fun to watch. It was a really good day. We each had so much fun. There really is nothing better than watching your children have a blast. At least I don't think so. Its amazing how much one of their smiles or laughs can brighten my day. Now Catcher and Crew have been in school for a couple of months, and we look forward to hitting up the lake when it gets warm again...but for now, could the weather please get cooler?!

Twilight Trilogy....Hunger Games

Before I move onto this book above, I thought I better post about the midnight showing of Eclipse...in June. Twilight has been a great way for me and the girls to get together and enjoy nights out and have tons of fun together. Crystal has already started and almost finished Hunger Games..and has given me the bug to start. Marisa and I are starting it this weekend. We need another excuse to talk and get out to the movies. Don't you agree girls? (Side note, Jade and Dustin are almost finished with it too, it must be good!)
Bronx with Aunt Marisa and Aunt Crystal...he was in Heaven with all the girls that loved on him at the movie (he is such a little flirt already!)
Marisa and her beautiful smile...seriously, her smile is the best!

This picture is way blurry, but I have to post it. Marisa and I so excited for Eclipse.

In June I went with Crystal and Marisa to the Twilight Trilogy which led to the midnight premier of Eclipse. It was so fun to go with them. They are two of my best friends and it was fun to just be goofy and have a blast. Bronx got to come with Mom for the first movie, and then I left and ran him home. He was way tired and needed his bed. Dustin was a trooper and kept all three boys. They were all sound asleep by the time I got home at about 2 a.m. Anyway, it was a night of great converstion and good laughs. So now onto the Hunger Games, have you read it?

Question for Mom's....(updated)

Update: Bronx is doing well with the cereal with just b-milk in it. So, now we have to rule out some other things, such as apple juice and fruit, he has had trouble with both of those....but as for now, we know rice is not the culprit. Thanks to those who left a comment!
Have any of you ever had a baby get sick after eating Rice Cereal? I never have until now. I tried starting Bronx on cereal a month ago, without success. He became violently ill, vomiting...the projectile kind, and then after that was done, he would heave and heave, from his toes heave and became very weak. I ended up taking him to the ER worried that he was going to be in some kind of trouble. They told me he probably had a stomach bug and gave him something for the nausea and watched us for a while before sending us home. So its been a month, I thought I would try cereal again, thinking that he just had a stomach bug last time. He only took a few bites and became very cranky. I put him to sleep and he slept for maybe an hour and then woke up crying. I picked him up and he projected vomit all over me...this continued the same as last time for HOURS. He gets so ill (I have never seen a baby vomit so much that they actually get to nothing but bile coming up). I am worried he has an allergy to rice. I have called his pediatrician and he wants me to try one more time with just breast milk mixed in the cereal, not formula or anything and see how he does. I am afraid to try it because it breaks my heart to watch him go through it. If any of you have had this experience or know anyone that has....let me know what you did. Even if I don't know you personally, and you happen to swing by our blog and have an answer...please do! I need advice. Thank you in advance!

Never Forget....

Tonight as I have watched Fox News and the videos that have replayed of September 11, 2001, I have cried. I remember where I was at when I heard that the first tower was hit, I have felt the feelings I felt at that time. I have felt a loyalty and a patriotism to my country that is forever binding. We live in a great and wonderful land, we have been blessed to be free Americans to worship and live as we please. Today I have felt re-commited to standing up for Truth, Righteousness, and Country. I will never forget those who lost their lives on this day nine years ago, and those who continue to put theirs in harms way to protect our freedoms.

A party for a 3 year old.....

Our Crew boy turned 3 in July, and boy did we celebrate! We had two days of fun, and loved every minute of it. On his actual birthday we went to the theater and saw How to Train your Dragon (cute!) and then to Chuck-e-Cheese to eat and play.

Crew with his best friend. He tells me all the time that Catch is his best friend. I hope it always stays that way. Catcher was so cute, he did his best to make sure Crew had a great day. He started every sentence with"because its your birthday Crew, I will help you....."

Here they are goofing around at the theater before the movie. Its great, who needs quarters to play, they have just as much fun pretending.

Bronx was just so excited...can you tell?

Dad and Crew at dinner. Crew wanted to sit by his daddy. Talk about melting a grown mans heart. He thinks his daddy is pretty great, he is right.

Bronx awake..and trying to get the pacifier in his mouth. Love this squishy baby!

YUM!

Those dark eyes are deadly! They kind of control me at times.

Playing basketball with dad. Highlight to Crew since he LOVES to play any kind of sports.

Where to go next.....This was the first birthday that he realized it was all about him. Well I think most kids would think that was great, but Crew, he is not one to have all the attention on him. He would rather just blend in. But look at that cute face, he doesn't blend at all! He is a stand out!

The Buddies.

Snuggled up in the blanket that April sent Crew for his birthday. She knows the way to a three year olds heart, a snugly blanket, suckers and home made Jerky. Thank you April!

Rosin at the Birthday party.

Catch enjoying cake.

The family party was on Saturday, and we got together for lunch, cake and swimming. My boys love to be with their cousins and especially when it involves swimming. Crew and Catcher were little fish this summer, so this was the perfect party. Everyone came (we missed you Mark, Marisa, Madisyn and Ella) and it was so fun. Again, Crew wasn't sure about having all the attention on him. When we sang happy birthday to him and everyone had their eyes on him to blow out the candles...I had to talk him into it. He just wanted to hide in my shoulder. Funny kid. (See video at very end of the post)

The cake...(Thanks Costco) I usually try to come up with some kind of cute cupcake for birthdays, but this year I just wasn't on the ball. Luckily he was excited to go to Costco and pick out his cake, chocolate with baseball, perfect!

Look at that smile! Thanks for the Buzz gun Goodmans..do you know him or what?!

The kids swimming and having a blast. We are super lucky Grandma has a nice pool.

I hope your birthday was great Crew. We sure enjoyed sharing it with you. Our lives are perfect with you in it. At three years old his favorites are: (he is naming them off to me)
Brothers
Cousins
Grandma Goodman
Grami and Pops Price
Sports
Snuggling with Mom
Dads I Touch
Suckers
Preschool
Movies on the Wii
Madi's house in the Mountains
Nala (our boxer)
Holding Bronx's hand in the truck
Crew is so much fun. He is very active and keep me on my toes. He has the longest eye lashes in the world, with the most beautiful green eyes. His smile is amazing and his little sweet moments are the best. I love you Crew and thank my lucky stars that I get to have you.
