Canyon Lake

We had the chance to venture out with the Prices to Canyon Lake a couple of times this summer. My boys LOVED it! They enjoyed cousins, water, and good food. It was a great way to hang out and cool down. These are pictures from our first trip out. No boats on this trip, just playing on the shore and swimming out if you wanted. The water was pretty cool and took some getting used to, but was great once you got it. We put our boys on a little floatie and took them out a ways, and just floated as a little family. It was peaceful, and the surroundings were beautiful. Those are memories that I love, seeing smiles on the faces of my little guys and holding Dustins hand...perfect! The second trip out I of course forgot my camera! There were boats this time and more fun to be had. Catcher was a little braver than I wanted him to be, and jumped on a tube with his dad and let Uncle Craig pull them around for a while. Catch talked about that for WEEKS! He thought it was the greatest thing ever. Thanks Prices for the fun, and we look forward to the next trip!

Summer Days Spent Swimming....

This is what my boys looked like most days this summer. We are lucky enough to live right down the road from my mom who has a nice pool in her backyard. Heaven in this weather! We used it often this summer, and loved every minute. My boys are little fish and would literally live in the pool if we let them. It is always a battle to get them out once they are in. They got brave enough this summer to let Dustin throw them across the pool. They actually beg to have him do it. They come up out of the water with big huge smiles and start swimming right towards Dad to be thrown again. I love swimming season. I thought I would post this picture before the season was over...which won't be soon if this weather continues. I am not sure if Catcher was smiling or growling at me when I took this picture, but he just walked in as I was posting it and asked me if he was mad....so who knows, but loved the picture anyway.

Birthday Boy turned 2! (In July)

Back in July, Crew turned 2. We had a great celebration with family on both sides. Thanks to everyone for making his day special. We are so thankful to have Crew in our home. He is such a special little spirit, and he keeps things exciting around here. He loves Catcher with all of his heart, and wants to do anything and everything that he is doing. I love to watch the two of them together. They keep Dustin and I in stitches most of the time. They have started the wrestling thing though, and that is already getting a little old. Crew loves to play ball, and anytime that he and Catch get to go to the store to pick out a prize...it is no surprise when Crew picks a ball. We went with the monkey cupcakes, because he is our little monkey! He is not afraid of anything, and climbs everything! He makes his daddy proud. He is pretty much potty trained, and we only started him a few days ago. He loves wearing big boy underwear, and thinks he is pretty cool running around the house in nothing but those. I think it is pretty cute myself. I will have to take a picture to share. Crew loves his brother, but loves his one on one with Mom and Dad. He can be super tired, but he will out last Catcher just to have his time with us. He will usually climb up right between us on the couch and watch whatever is on TV. We love watching sports with him because he cheers and boo's just like he knows what is going on. We are ready for the Suns to start playing again soon, he loves to watch them. There is a little about Crew, and there is so much more to him. Happy Birthday Crew...and thanks for letting us share it with you!
