He loves the Highchair!

Well Crew, and Mom, have a new found love for the highchair! Now that Crew can sit up well, we use it! It is great for eating in and for playing in. As you can see, Crew really enjoys the independance the chair gives him. It is nice for mom too because I have a place that is safe to put him for a bit and give my arms a rest. I just hope his attitude toward the chair doesn't change anytime soon...

Cousin Fun!

Catcher has a little cubby hole under his bed that he hides in all the time. Well I was in the boys room cleaning and going through old clothes, and this is what Catcher and Madisyn were doing the whole time. They thought it was just so funny to crawl in and out of that cubby. It was cute, I just wanted to capture the moment for you all to see.

President Hinckley

Well, as most of you know by now, President Hinckley has passed away. It is a sad day for those of us left behind by such a great man, but what a wonderful day for him. He has done the work that was asked of him, and it has been absolutely amazing. I can only imagine the reunions that have been held in Heaven today. I will always have a special place in my heart for this man as he was the Prophet of my generation. He has touched my life and strengthened my testimony.

Sickness

Well I have been behind in the blogging world lately, but it is for a good cause. Let me tell you a little bit about what we have been dealing with.

First off is Crew. Crew started to get sick about two weeks ago. He started with a cough and a runny nose, and then the dreaded wheeze started in his chest. I took him into the Doctor, and they said that he needed to be started on breathing treatments and oral steroids because he had Bronchiolitis...aka...RSV. So then the fight began. Crew did not respond well to the albuterol treatments, and the steroids hurt his tummy. However, he had to have both. On top of it all, he had double ear infections as well. Anyway, after a trip to the ER and back to the Doctor, we were told that most likely he was going to be admitted and put on oxygen and breathing treatments if something didn't turn around. I broke down, as most of you know, when Catcher was 14 months old he was put in the hospital with RSV and Pneumonia, and if you have ever watched what they have to go through at the hospital, it is a dreaded thing. After the Doctor gave us this news, he made a few changes to Crew's medicine in hopes that it would be a small enough change to keep him out of the hospital. We then headed to the Price house where they were having combined family home evening, and we had all the men stand and give Crew a blessing, it was one of the most powerful moments in my life. The spirit was so overwhelming as I held my little boy, and six worthy Priesthood holders put their hands on his head and gave him a blessing from his Heavenly Father. I am so blessed to be a part of a family that is able and willing to do that. Crew is still battling, but is doing a little better each day. We know that our Father in Heaven is watching after him.

As for Catcher, he has asthma, and anything that comes around that deals with the respiratory system, usually just shuts him down. He has now been on his breathing treatments for three days. He is not feeling well at all, but refuses to slow down. He is a tough little boy, and handles it pretty well.

In the midst of all of this, Dustin and I got Strep, and were soooo sick. We were beginning to wonder if we were being cursed...but I guess we were just being tried. My mom was great and took the risk of catching Strep, but she came in and stayed a few nights with us to help with the boys. Thanks Mom!

So this is why I have been a little behind on my blogging, but hope that things will be back to normal around here soon. I appreciate everyone that has been calling to check on us, and that has been praying for our boys! You have no idea what that does for us. I want to give a special thanks to Tami, and she knows why...Thank you, you are such an amazing person!

6 Months Already!

Our little Crew boy is already six months old today! Wow how time flies when you are having fun. He is already rolling all over the place, and can pretty much get to what he wants. He is starting to tuck his knees up under his belly, so I am sure that he will be totally mobile at anytime now....which means no hiding for mommy any more. We love Crew so much. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family and we are so thankful to our Father in Heaven for making sure that his little spirit came to our home. Our boys are the best thing in our life. We love you little Crew!

SUNBEAM!!!

Well...our little Catcher is a Sunbeam now! I can't believe it. He was so grown up on Sunday, he just walked away from me and went and sat with his class and never looked back. As you can see, they made a cute little crown, and a fruitloop necklace. I couldn't get him to stop eating the fruitloops long enough to get a picture..but that is ok, he is cute anyway. Congratulations Catch on your big advancement!!

Jade, Jade, Jade

Well brother, I can no longer be called a blog "slacker".... I have done my duty and overloaded all of you with pictures and updates....so now I say to you...go get busy! Ha Ha Ha

Christmas Morning

This is what Santa brought for Crew...and kind of for mommy. He plays so well on the floor now.

Santa brought Catch his first bike. An "Incredibles" bike. He was so excited.

Here is Madisyn with her cute new beanie and her new stroller for her babies...
we were so happy they were with us on Christmas morning.
Yeah, Santa remembered me too.

Oh what could it be..Catcher loved every minute of Christmas.

Well I would say that this toy did it's job...
Christmas morning was so fun. We spent it at my moms house, and Mark and Marisa came over and stayed as well. It was fun to have the company. It was great to see the excitement on the kids faces as they opened each gift. Santa was good to each of them this year. And the good news is that Santa really did his homework when it came to shopping for the boys this year, they are still playing with their toys..they are not tired of them yet. Great job Santa!

Goodman Family Christmas

Hmmm, not so sure about this dad.

Grandma with the Norton's new toy, little Sparky.

Here is Miss Mady...Cute!

Mark, Treck, and Holden enjoying a good laugh..which we usually do at our parties.. I love it!

This is Kyle , Crew, Gina and Catch..and Sparky.
We had our Goodman Family Christmas party at the Norton home this year. Thanks guys for hosting. It was fun. We shared good laughs, and got to catch up on each others happenings. I didn't really get a lot of pictures of our family party, I was to busy enjoying my time with family. As you can see, in every picture, the Norton's have a new family member named Sparky. He is the cutest little puppy, and everyone had to have a turn with him. Anyway, we had a great time and can't wait for next years party to roll around!

Poor Sparky...Catcher was not about to let him go!
