A Day With Catcher.....

I was lucky enough to get to go with Catcher on a field trip. We went to the Scottsdale Train Park. I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE! I love my Catcher sooooooo much, and since he has started school, I have not had the chance to spend the day with him one on one in a while. I think I was more excited for the field trip than he was. Dustin was able to take the day off work and stay home with Crew and Bronx so that I could go. It was fun to see Catcher in his own element, among all of his friends. He has TONS of friends. Everyone knows him.....including all of the little girls. Oh my goodness! I had a group of three boys that I was in charge of, including Catch, and they were a fun little group. Very active fun little group. Catch was so sweet, they would go and play and do things, but he made sure that every few minutes he came to check in with me and make sure I was ok. It was a super special day for me, and I think for Catch too. When we got on the bus to head back to the school, he leaned over and just gave me the biggest hug and told me thanks for going with him. Uh...melt. Any day buddy! Thanks for letting me spend the day with you!!

New Years 2011

We kept it really low key for New Years. Catcher went to Grami Price's house for the traditional grand kid party and sleepover. Crew could have gone to Grami's this year, but he is a little bit attached to his mother...just slightly. Dustin, Bronx,Crew and I then headed over to Norton's to party with them and the Goodmans, Goodmans, and Rays. It was a good time...but we are lazy party poopers and headed home early to get comfortable and watch a movie. We did manage to make it till midnight and we lit up a few sparklers in the front yard. Crew was pretty sure that was the coolest thing ever. I think we went through several boxes. Bronx was a trooper and was all smiles ringing in 2011. I am ok with low key. I love spending time with all of our family. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Merry Christmas...2010

We spent Christmas with Family. We are lucky enough to have both sides of our family here. We spent Christmas Eve with my family playing games and eating good food.

We played Christmas Pictionary. We had to draw pictures of Christmas Carols and then guess what song it was. After you guessed the song then your team had to sing the correct words to the song in order to win. It was a blast.

Everyone played and enjoyed it. It was the first time we have ever done it, and I hope it becomes tradition.

After the games, the kids acted out the Nativity...always a family favorite.

My Mom gave each of the grand kids a new pillow with a pillow case that had their initials sewn into it. They are great. The kids always look forward to her gifts. I for one was so happy that the boys got new pillows..we have been in need of that here for a while, and since they have their initials...there is no confusion! This is a picture of most of the grand kids. A great bunch of kids.

Trace, Cole and Catch. It is so fun to me to see my boys with their cousins. They love all of them, and they have such great examples on both sides.

We have a Christmas Eve tradition where we all open a new pair of pajamas before going to bed. Here are the boys in theirs, and Bronx is super thrilled with mom for wanting to capture this moment. Perfect little pouty lips!

We have been doing a little remodel around here (pictures to come). Here is Mr. B standing next to the fireplace. He was more than sure he could reach those stockings. He looks so little in this picture.

Santa had a yummy plate of cookies waiting for him along with some cereal for his faithful Reindeer's.

Santa was super good to everyone this Christmas.

Bronx loved ripping into wrapping paper. It was more fun to do that then play with any gifts. Every year I tell myself that really a little one does not needs gifts, they are more excited about the wrapping and the boxes...but then I fall back into it every year and spend money on gifts anyway =).

Santa left a gift for both boys to share...what could it be????

Catcher and Crew were lucky enough to get some quads from Mom and Dad. They were shocked to say the least. They love these things.

Christmas night we got to party with the Price bunch. We made fleece blankets for elderly people and delivered them while singing Christmas Carols. It was a great lesson in giving and love for my boys. They enjoyed it. Here is a picture of the kids doing the nativity. Crew was sound asleep. He fell asleep while caroling and missed out on this fun.

Since Bronx was the little baby of the fam this year, he got to play the manger role. He happily took the job.

I LOVE Christmas. It is my favorite holiday hands down. I love the feeling of family and togetherness that comes with it. I am so grateful to have such a big family to share it with and BEYOND thankful that I have my husband and three little boys that make it so special.

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving we stayed close to home. We were lucky enough to have it at my Mom's house with Mark and his family as well as Gina and her fam. I think that was perfect for the kids. They were together and that was all that mattered. It was a great day, full of food, family and relaxation! (Calm before the storm, black Friday was the next day..and Mark, Marisa and my self went and conquered. If you are able to access Marisa's blog, please do for her black Friday post, priceless!)

Marisa made the turkey and it was yummy! She did a great job.

I am not sure what this is that Mark is wearing, but he found it and needless to say he entertained us all with it for a while. It really can't get any better than just laughing with family on a lazy holiday.
