Who had a Birthday?!

Our Catcher did. He turned four this weekend...and I can't believe it! It has been the best four years of our lives! We live for this kids smile. No matter your mood, it will make a smile stretch across your face. I look forward to each and everyday with this little boy, and am so very thankful that Heavenly Father entrusted him to Dustin and I. He is a kid that is just good down to his very core. Don't get me wrong, he has his moments, but he was blessed with a gift to see and feel what people are feeling, and he always tries to make sure everyone is happy. He asks me everyday how I feel, and if I say tired or sad, he asks why and how to fix it. We love you Catcher! Thanks for letting us celebrate your special day with you....and thanks for being so darn excited for everything! It was beyond cute! LOVE YOU!

Thanksgiving Happenings....

This is a picture of Catcher in his Preschool outfit they made at their Thanksgiving
party. He is giving me his mean little Indian face.
What would these two do without each other?!

We spent Thanksgiving at my mom's house this year. It was a small crowd. Every one else was out of town. But we enjoyed the company we had, and the yummy food.

Crew loving his food!
Friday we went to see Bolt with Grandma, Madisyn & Marisa. It is such a cute show, Catcher loved it. Thanks for the invite Marisa.
Then Saturday led to this....
After a day of canning apples, we then took off with Marisa
and Madi to go see the Temple lights.

We got to spend lots of time with this cute face. It was
great.

List topper......

I got to see this movie...LOVE IT....twice in one week. Marisa and I went with our hubbies the night after it opened, and then took advantage of Thanksgiving break to see it again. Thanks for going with me Marisa, I love having this in common with you!

Happy Birthday Dustin!

Happy Birthday Dustin! We love you so very much, and are so glad we get to celebrate this day with you. Catcher was excited to help make your cake, he loves you SO much! Thank you for being mine, and for being the best friend and father my boys could have. I love how you melt into a smile when Crew yells "Dad," when you get home, and how you take the time to flip Catcher threw the air a few times even though you are beat from your day....and how you always walk towards me with a little smile, and lean in for a soft kiss (mmm...did I just stop breathing). We are certainly LUCKY people. I won't make this a novel, but please know you are absolutely AmAzInG!!! I am so looking forward to our date tonight....thanks Crystal and Mom for helping with my boys!

Today's Feelings...

The Election is over, and we have a new President. As I have pondered this, my spirits have been very down, very low today. I am feeled with worry, with dread. A feeling that I cannot shake no matter how I try. I voted for John McCain yesterday, as did Dustin. We felt he was the man that could continue to lead this Country and keeps us safe form terrorists, and from liberal thinking. As I watched Obama sweep this election, my heart broke. I believe he is a man that can speak very well, he can win an audience with his words. I also believe he is a man that we do not know. He never really told us what he was going to DO to handle the crisis this Country is in. I also fear his religious beliefs, and what that means for our religious future as a country. He had a very radical Preacher as a friend for more that twenty years. A Preacher that did not respect our country, nor most of us that live in it. My boys little faces pop into my head as I think about the future, and as I wait, with all of you to see where this new President will take us. As I have thought and worried over these things and as I type this, I have oddly come to a little peace within myself. I know that my Heavenly Father lives, I know that His Son Jesus Christ lives, that He atoned for us. I KNOW that He will not leave us alone if we are living as He has asked us to. So what will I do now? I will prepare for the future of this country by doing as I should. I will pray daily, I will read my scriptures, I will attend my meetings, and most of all I will help instill Testimonies in my little boys that will not and cannot be broken no matter what is to come. My beliefs and my family are everything to me, and I know that I can have those things FOREVER. I love this Gospel with all of my heart, I love knowing that no matter what is in store, I have a Father that loves me, and guides me and my family in the direction we are to go.

I am so beyond excited that Prop 102 passed here in Arizona, as well as Prop 8 in California. We know the importance and sacredness of marriage, and we have helped protect that. Thanks to all of you for doing your part. I hope you don't mind that I have shared this today, I have just had it on my mind and writing always helps me.

What are your thoughts on the election?

Pumpkin Carving

Well, we were a little behind on the pumpkin carving, we did it Thursday night....but it did get done. Thanks for working hard on it Dustin, the boys are absolutely in love with it, and are so very excited to have a spider pumpkin (Catcher's choice). Crew is so cute, he just points at it and says" ooohhh...see."

Neighborhood Carnival

The Two Jacks...

Awe...my little Jack Sparrow, with his cute little belly hanging out.

The boys had a blast playing games at all the booths,
this was the first of many stops.

My Pirate got a Pirate Tattoo at the Carnival
This picture I threw in, this is Catcher ready for his Preschool
Halloween party...he decided to be Spiderman rather than Jack Sparrow for his school party.
(And as you can tell, he really wasn't in the mood to have this picture taken)

We had our Annual Neighborhood Halloween Carnival on Wednesday. I just want to say I love this neighborhood. It is always so much fun. Everyone comes out and makes it the best carnival. My boys loved every minute of it. Both of my boys were "Jack Sparrow" this year. Crew was originally going to be a spider, but once I put the Sparrow wig on him...that is who he had to be. I loved it. Thanks Crystal for helping me throw it together QUICKLY! I will have more pictures on Halloween when we actually go Trick-or-Treating.

Sleeping Spiderman

How many of you have one of these at your house? I hope he doesn't mind that I revealed his secret identity...but I wanted to see his cute face.
(I love my little sleeping Super Hero)

Saturday Night Football

Awe...I love these guys!
Rosin trying on Ryker's helmet...this kids loves sports already!

The Cute Crystal & Tatum bundled up.

Crew loved sitting on Grandma's lap and watching the game.

Tristen going in for the tackle.

Coach Treck

Just a good picture of the Superstition Mountains

Crew and I...and yes we are glowing for some reason.

The other part of the game that Crew loved...YUM.

On Saturday night we went and watched Kaden & Tristen play football. They are just awesome let me tell you! I enjoy watching them play any sports because they just put their whole hearts into it. The Goodman's were there as well as Grandma. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!! This time of year reminds me why I live here in good old Arizona. Both of my boys loved watching the game, and playing with cousins. After the game we all decided to head out and eat at Mi Amigos and visit a little more. It was good eating. Thanks Tami and Treck!

Park Time

Catcher & Tatum with their little red cheeks from playing so hard.

Rosin stopping to oblige my picture taking, this kid was
crazy, he was climbing everything!

Just a cute picture of little man walking away.

Catch & Tatum playing in the dirt.

Since we live just around the corner from the park, look
who got to drive home.

Monday night we decided to venture out with the Goodman's and enjoy the nice fall weather that we are having. We took the kids to the park and let them run wild. They love it there, and especially together. They are all growing up so fast, I can't believe it. I enjoy having the Goodman's just down the road, it allows for frequent opportunities to hang out together. Thanks for inviting us guys, it was fun.
