A Way to Help.....

Is this family not beautiful!!! This is the Nielson Family and they are in need of prayers and faith more than anything right now. The parents, Stephanie and Christian were in a private airplane crash. They are in critical condition, burned badley, and are being cared for at the Maricopa Burn Center. They are both in for months and months of surgeries and recovery. Family has taken their children and are caring for them through this difficult time. Please go here http://blog.cjanerun.com/ where you can read news articles and clippings regarding what happened, as well as receive updates from family about their condition. Also, you can go to Stephanie's personal blog, and fall in love with her little family at http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/. You will not be sorry you visited. Stephanie and Christian have inspired many through their little family blog, the love they share is amazing, as is the faith they have in Christ. After you read Stephanie's blog I have no doubt you will want to help them if you can. Please pray first and foremost, but another way you can help is by donating to their recovery. All donations will help cover the millions of dollars in medical bills, and help to run their home and maintain their bills as they lay in hospital beds. Today, and even through the weekend for some, you can bid on silent auctions at http://www.designmom.com/. Any and all proceeds will be donated to the Nielson's fund. Also, on my blog to the left, you will see a donate to Nie Nie button, you can donate through pay pal this way. Anything helps. Thanks for reading this, and remember get on your knees tonight and pray for them, as well as many nights to come.

The Two "Supers"

Today Catcher brought me he and Madisyn's blankets and told me they wanted to be "Supers." Here they are....the two supers. They have been running around all morning with these tied on their backs, and loving every minute of it. I just thought this was cute enough to share. Oh, and yes my house looks like a mess. We have the furniture pulled out of the boys room right now because we are painting it (pictures to come).

Well I have been a bad blogger lately. Perhaps now that the Olympics are over I can get back into the swing of things. Does anyone else find it somewhat depressing that the Olympics are over, and we are back to NOTHING on T.V. ? Well I do, I love sitting down and watching great sporting events every night and routing for our Country. Well at least it is only eighteen months before the Winter Olympics starts. Anyway, here's to trying to be a better blogger...until then.

Phelps Fever!

He did it! Talk about inspiration to do anything, this man accomplished the impossible...8 GOLD MEDALS in ONE Olympic Games. Dustin and I were glued to the TV every night to watch him race. Our kids looked at us like we were crazy as we jumped up and down cheering him to victory. Catcher actually caught on, and would say watch mom I can do it, and would pretend to be the great swimmer. I am sad that the swimming competitions are over, and we will have to wait another four years to see this amazing talent again. I think he impresses me not only for his talent, but his sportsmanship, and his love for his mother and sisters. He has inspired me to try a little harder in my life, and to take the word CAN'T out of my vocabulary. Way to go Phelps!

A New Trick....

Houston....we have a climber. Our little Crew boy has not decided to take off walking yet, but he will CLIMB anything that he can. This is his latest trick. He scares me to death when I come around the corner and find him standing on this stool in the bathroom. He on the other hand is proud of himself as you can see by his face. As I am typing this he is climbing onto a little chair and trying to climb into the bassinet. Oh Crew boy....we love you!
