I am the Mother of a 5 year old!

We have a five year old! Catcher turned five last month, and we had a fun day celebrating with him. Here are Catch & Crew before heading off for a fun filled day. (His actual birthday was Sunday, so we did our major partying on Saturday)

We went to the movies, and my boys were in Heaven when they saw the Chipmunk statutes. They love them. They each struck a pose on their own. Catcher is so funny, he is standing just like Simon. Why Simon...he is wearing Blue...Catchers fav!

Can you imagine the excitement when they heard that the "real" Alvin was there. Catcher was all about getting a picture with him.

We were lucky enough to have Grami Price come and spend the day with us...Catch & Grami with Alvin.

Crew was all about the Chipmunk statutes...but not so much for the real thing. Can you see the worried look on his face, he was not going to have anything to do with Alvin touching him.

Here is Dad helping Catch learn to control him. This robot is so fun, it drives anywhere and talks to you while you go.

On Sunday, I was under the weather and stayed home, Crew stayed home to keep me company while Dustin and Catcher went to Church. While they were gone, Crew and I decorated the house, and blew up balloons for when the birthday boy got home.

This is what he got from Dustin and I. He has so much fun. We love the ride at Disneyland, and so having the game was a must. Isn't he such a stud in his Sunday best?!

We really could have saved ourselves some money, and just thrown balloons all over the house. The boys played with them for DAYS! They drew faces on them, decorated them...they had a blast.

They even made their own ball pit using a play pin and balloons. I love watching them play together. Dustin and I love to lay in bed at night after laying the boys down, and just listen to them talk. They have the cutest and most interesting conversations.

The last minute cupcakes. I had already been sick for a bit, so I really hadn't planned a cake or anything, but we decided to do little bug cupcakes while walking through the store the night before his party. They turned out ok I think, the kids loved that they each got their own bug. Thanks to everyone who made this day special for Catcher. He loves you all!

Dustin and I are so proud of Catcher. He is absolutely amazing. He is smart, kind and he is such a love bug. Not that he wants everyone to know that, but he is. He gives the worlds BEST hugs. It can just lift your spirits in a second just to feel his little arms wrap around you. He is our tender heart too, he can tell when someone needs to talk, and he will carry on a conversation FOREVER. We are so thankful he is our oldest, because he really tries to be the best example he can be. He loves Crew and is so excited to hug and snuggle his new baby brother when he comes. Imagination, this kid has imagination. He can play and entertain himself and his brother for hours. He is signed up for T-Ball this Spring and is excited. We are excited to watch him and cheer for him as well. He also will start Kindergarten next year, tear, and he is so ready. Although, when we talk about it, he tells me he is going to miss me....we will see how long that lasts. He is growing up fast, and it makes me a little sad. He needs to slow down so that I can enjoy these sweet years a little longer. There is so much more I could write about him, he is amazing, and I feel so blessed to be his Mother. Heavenly Father truly entrusted me with a strong little spirit. So Happy Birthday my five year old. We love you!
